青柳龍太『sign』

ギャラリー小柳で開催されている青柳龍太『sign』

青柳龍太氏は、1976年大阪生まれのアーティストです。

今回の展覧会では、『ファウンドオブジェ』によって構成されていて、『ファウンドオブジェ』とは、一度、何らかの目的で使用されたもののことで、ここに展示されているモノたちは、元々は何か別の目的で使われていて、それを作品として再構築されているというわけです。

音楽では当てはめにくい手法で、カバーでもないし、サンプリングでもないし、MIXでもないし、、、、

そのモノの歴史やストーリー、それとは別の視点を加える時に、モノに【アーティストのフィルター】を通すことで、その見え方や価値までもが変わってくると。。。。

リストを見たら、私が行った時点（8月末）で、すでに半分以上の作品が売れていました。

ステートメントはとても詩的で、『sign』という短い言葉の中に、多くの言葉を乗せています。ちなみに青柳龍太氏は『美術手帖』でもエッセイを連載中。

ちなみにギャラリー小柳って、初訪問の人には若干わかりにくいです。

看板も何もないし、一見さんにはなかなか見つけづらいので、ラストに外観画像だけ貼っておきます笑

Ryuta Aoyagi “sign” at Gallery Koyanagi

Ryuta Aoyagi is an artist born in Osaka in 1976.

This exhibition consists of “Found Object”. “Found Object” means something that was once used for some purpose, and the items displayed here were originally used for something else and were reconstructed as works. That is why.

It's a technique that is hard to compare with music. It's not cover, sampling, MIX ...

When you add a different perspective to the history and story of the thing, you can change its appearance and value by passing the artist's filter through the thing. . . .

Looking at the list, when I went (at the end of August), more than half of the works had already been sold.

The explanatory note is very poetic, with many words in the short word “sign”. By the way, Ryuta Aoyagi is serializing an essay in a magazine.
