Independent Tokyo 2019（#雑レポート）

タグボートが主催する『Independent Tokyo 2019』に行ってきました。

タグボートはアート界では超有名な現代アート販売サイトで、今回のイベント参加アーティストも150名以上だそう。

新進気鋭のアーティストがこれだけ集まるイベントもなかなかないと思います。

行ってきた個人的な感想としては、「狭い！」というのが正直な感想でした。

これだけたくさんのアーティストや作品が並ぶんですから、仕方ないことなんですけど、私のようにゆっくりゆったり見たい人にはあまり向かないイベントかもしれません。

ということで、良い部分と悪い部分（主観）をまとめてみました。

【良い部分】
①一度にたくさんのアーティストや作品が見れる
②その場で購入もできる
③アーティストと直接話ができる

【悪い部分（主観）】
①写真が撮りにくい
②話しかけられる

悪い部分については解説します。

まず会場が結構狭いです。人がごった返しているので、写真を撮ろうとしてもどうしても人が映り込んだりして、うまく写真が撮れません。

また狭いスペースにアーティスト本人がいるので、作品を見てるとどうしても話かけられます。

洋服屋でもそうなのですが、私は話しかけられるのがあまり好きではないので、こういうタイプの展覧会には向いていないのだなと思ってしまいました。

ただ上でも書きましたが、アーティストと直接話ができるのは、やはり貴重だと思います。

私のような自分のペースで見たい人もいますよって話でした。

展示されていた作品は素晴らしいものがたくさんあったので、興味ある人はぜひ行ってみてください。

I went to "Independent Tokyo 2019" hosted by tagboat.

tagboat is a contemporary art sales site. There are more than 150 artists participating in this event.

There are not many events where so many up-and-coming artists gather.

As a personal impression that I went to, I thought it was "narrow!"

It can't be helped, but it may not be suitable for people who want to watch at their own pace like me.

I tried to summarize the good and bad parts.

[Good part]
①You can see many artists and works at once
②Purchase on the spot
③ Talk directly with the artist

[Bad part]
① difficult to take photos
② Talk to artists

I will explain the bad part.

First of all, because the venue is small and crowded, people are reflected in taking pictures and cannot take pictures well.

Also, since the artist is in a small space, you can talk to him when you see the work.

I don't like talking to the store clerk at the clothes shop, so I want to see it at my own pace.

On the other hand, I think it is precious to be able to talk directly with artists.

Some people like me like to watch at their own pace.
