I have two birthdays!

When I was in Elementary school,
I had a classmate who was born on April 1st.
She used to say,
'My real birthday is April 1st, but my fake birthday is March 31st.'

At that time, I didn't understand the meaning and was confused.
'What do you mean by a fake birthday?'

On the other hand, although I don't have anyone around me, there are people born on February 29th. Except in leap years, they celebrate their birthday on March 1st.
If we put it in the context of my classmate born on April 1st, their 'fake birthday' would be March 1st.

Born on February 29th and April 1st, instead of using the term 'fake birthday,' which might be misleading, we could say they are exceptional individuals who have two birthdays.
