Flower-giving Day

My illustrator friend holds solo exhibitions several times a year. While I used to give her flowers, she now prefers receiving sweets. When it comes to flowers, my thoughts drift to carnations on Mother's Day, although I don't recall giving them to my own mother. As a child with limited allowance, I once drew carnations on a card as a gift. Yellow roses are said to be customary on Father's Day, although this tradition isn't widely known. In our family, we don't typically buy flowers for anniversaries or birthdays; we only notice flower shops as we pass by.

I've learned that the significance of flowers can vary based on their color and quantity. However, if they align with personal preferences, their symbolic meaning may matter less. When giving flowers, considerations often include color, type, and cost.

To gain insights, I'd like to ask frequent flower givers some questions: What types of flowers do you commonly give? How frequently do you give flowers? How many people do you give flowers to? And what is the typical expenditure per occasion?
