A college degree is required or not

almost us grew up with parents, teachers, and societies in general drilling it into our heads that a college degree would be necessary for financial stability and our successful future. however, it could now almost be argued that is certainly not the case.

First off, countless examples of people who have obtained a level of financial success still exist, most of us cannot begin to fathom, without ever graduating from college. Here are some self-made billionaires you may have heard of. Bill Gates, the founder of Microsoft, Micahel Dell, investor of the Dell brand of computers, and Mark Zuckerburg, who launched Facebook are just three examples of dropouts who are not only wealthy, they have changed the world as we know it. 

Additionally, the cost of college tuition has ballooned to a frightening level. Many people who do manage to graduate from college are burdened with staggering debt from students loans. this tends to negate a large part of any financial advantage their diploma might offer.

Lastly and perhaps most disappointing is the fact that a large percentage of college students party their way through school, graduating with arbitrary degrees. Having squandered the precious opportunity to gain critical thinking skills and applicable knowledge, they have little chance of obtaining the success that a diploma might offer.
