The 4th TAKE Cup -MHR:S GS Speedrun Competition-

【大剣愛】TAKE

1.Introduction

Good day to you all!

I'm pleased to announce the 4th TAKE cup as Monster Hunter RISE/Sunbreak Great Sword competition.
I had held three competitions as TAKE cup in the past, and this is 2nd competition in Sunbreak.

Although it's calld a Time Attack / Sppedrun competition, I hope the participants will enjoy themselves and have fun with their own play styles, equipments and build, like as festival.

The first TAKE Cup had 11 participants, the second one had 12, and the third one had 31, with a maximum of 400, 700, and 1,000 audiences.
Thanks to all very much.

On the Forth TAKE Cup, I decided to involve PlayStation and Xbox, Windows versions to supported platforms with more excitings.
Why don't you take this opportunity to join the festival?
Everyone is welcome to participate this competition!

2.Date and Time

Octover 7th (Sat) and 8th(Sun)
(・Start time will be around 18:00 to 22:30 in JST for both days.)

3.Quest

MR☆6『Hazard: Primordial Pest』

4.Rules

*** Related to Players ***

  • Any platforms (Switch, Steam, Playstation, Xbox, Windows)

  • Great Sword Only

  • Any nationality is accepted (communication will be in Japanese or English)

  • Palamute and any types of Palico are allowed (Healer, Assist, Fight, Collect, Bomber)

  • Followers are NOT Allowed

  • Enhanced Dango Fighter is not allowed, and the other Dango Skills are allowed.

  • Petalace is restricted to Absolute Petalace only.

  • Qurious Weapon Crafting is allowed

  • Qurious Armor Crafting is allowed but limited to: (see blow)

  • 1 skill upgrade

  • or either 1 Skill and 1 Slot upgrade

  • or a 2 Slot upgrade

  • Original equipment skills can be removed or not.

  • Talismans are allowed but are limited to:

  • No Berserk and No Dereliction

  • Slots will be used up to 2 slots of level 1 or 2 slots (If Talisman has Level 3 or 4 slots, limited to use level 1 or 2 slot skills)

*** Related to Hunting ***

  • Item free

  • Riding monster is NOT allowed

  • Starburst Bugs is NOT allowed

  • The use of the Marionette Spider and the Sleep Toad is prohibited (Picking up is OK if not used)

  • Butterflame and Wirebugs are allowed (Enhanced Dango Fighter is not allowed)

  • You only have 1 attempt. whatever happens.

  • If you accidentally ride a monster, all permitted action is once launching it to the wall without starburst bugs. Multiple launching with down cancelling is prohibited.

*** Other ***

  • If you abandon the quest, return from the the quest or faint 3 times the run counts as not finished.

  • Any Mods are NOT Allowed: players on steam/windows must show game files and task manager before entering the quest.

5.Prize

  • 1st ¥10,000

  • 2nd ¥ 5,000

  • 3rd ¥ 3,000
    After all runners have finished, an award ceremony will be held and the order of clear time will be announced in the following order: 3rd, 2nd, and 1st place.

6.Conditions for participation

  • Players need X (ex. Twitter) and Discord.

  • Players need to be able stream their game with either Youtube, Twitch, Bilibili etc.
    (PS and Xbox can be used for broadcast and streaming function, to mirror my channel)

  • Direct camera streaming (e.g. Streaming from iPhone/Android by its camera) is also allowed but only if it's stable and viewable.

7.Registration

  • Registration deadline: September 27th, 2023 (Wed) 23:59 in JST
