英語の歌詞はジェーンテイラーという詩人の
The Star という詩から来ているそうです。

この歌詞は星に何を重ねているのか。

憧れか恋か執着か呪いか。

すべて同じことなのかもしれないが。

そう考えるととてもいい歌詞ではないかと感じます。

マザーグースの一つでもあるそうなのでそのようなことは自明なのかもしれませんけれどね。
