エミネムが、通算12枚目となるオリジナルアルバム『The Death Of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce)』をリリースした。

前作『Music To Be Murdered By』から4年半ぶりとなる新作のタイトルの意味は、〈スリム・シェイディの死（とどめの一撃）〉。アートワークは、エミネムの分身でもあるslimshady

本作には、スカイラー・グレイ、ホワイト・ゴールド、JIDなどがゲスト参加。先行トシングルの“Houdini”、ビッグ・ショーンやベビートロンを迎えた“Tobey”などを含む

エミネムは自身のXにて、本作は全体を通したコンセプトアルバムであることを明かし、曲順どおりに聴いてほしいとコメントしている。

Eminem has released his 12th original album, The Death Of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce).

The title of his new album, his first in four and a half years since his previous album, ``Music To Be Murdered By,'' means ``The Death of Slim Shady.'' The artwork is slimshady, who is also Eminem's alter ego.

This work features guest appearances by Skyler Gray, White Gold, JID, and more. Includes the lead single “Houdini” and “Tobey” featuring Big Sean and Babytron.
