陰陽師（おんみょうじ）。陰陽寮に属する天文博士。並外れた占いの才能を持ち、常人にはない力があると畏怖される存在。天皇や貴族の生活はもちろん、政局にも大きな影響を及ぼす。

Onmyoji. An astronomy doctor who belongs to the Onmyo Dormitory. He has an extraordinary talent for fortune-telling, and is feared for having powers that ordinary people don't have. It has a great influence not only on the lives of the emperor and the aristocrats, but also on the political situation.
