藤井 風、RADWIMPS…サポートでも活躍　TAIKING、Suchmos休止の先で掴んだ新しい可能性

2021年にSuchmosの活動を休止し、ソロアーティストとして活動を開始したTAIKING。 2022年には1stアルバム『TOWNCRAFT』をリリースし、ダンサーJyunkiとの共作『CONNECTION FES』やオカモトコウキ(OKAMOTO'S)との企画ライブ『Between You and Me』など精力的に活動を行っている。続けています。同時にサポートギタリストとしての活動も本格的にスタートし、藤井風、Vaundy、RADWIMPSなどトップアーティストのライブやレコーディングでも確かな存在感を発揮。 2023年はSuchmos結成からちょうど10年ということで、2020年代の音楽シーンに多大な影響を与えたバンドの功績を振り返りながら、TAIKINGの現在地について聞いた。 （金子厚武）

TAIKING suspended his activities with Suchmos in 2021 and started his career as a solo artist.
