ウェイター：Welcome to ABC restaurant.
　　　　　　　　いらっしゃいませ。

What can I help you? 　　
何名様でしょうか？
直訳：何かお手伝いしましょうか？

✅日本ではお店に入ったら「何名様ですか？」と聞かれますが
直訳では「何かお手伝いしましょうか」という表現が海外では
同じ意味で使われています。

田中：A table for two, please.　　　　
2名でテーブル席お願いします。

ウェイター：Please follow me.　　　　
　　　　　席までご案内します。
　　　　　Here is table for two.　　
　　　　　こちらの席へどうぞ。

田中：Could you give me a menu please?　　
メニューを持ってきてもらっていいですか？

ウェイター：Yes, of course. Here you are.　　
　　　　　　もちろんです。こちらです。
　　　　　Would you like anything to drink?　　
　　　　　　飲み物ご注文いかがですか？
　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　
田中：Yes. Just water please/she will order later.　
水で大丈夫です。/彼女は後で注文します。

田中：Excuse me.

ウェイター：Are you ready to order?

ウェイター：How would you like your steak?　
　　　ステーキの焼き具合はいかがなさいますか？

田中：Medium please.　　
　　　ミディアムで。
