在豪アラサー女の英語日記 5日目

英語学習のため、英語日記を始めました。

I have started to keep diary to improve my English.

朝サーフィンに行ったら波が小さかった。
In the morning we went to the beach to surf, then the waves are very tiny.

ゴールドコースト来てから大きめの板しか乗ってなかったから、ショートサイズの板で慣れる練習になると思ってとりあえず入ってみた。
But we surfed to get used to a short-length board because I ride only a mid-length board since I’ve been here.

疲れた＆お腹減った＆飽きたで結局1時間で終了
I felt getting tired, hungry, and bored, so we decided to leave.

帰り道にある「マーケット」という小さいショッピングモールに行った。
And we stopped by Harris Markets which is a small shopping mall on our way home.

ルームメイトにおすすめしてもらってたんだけど、いつもサーフボード手に持ってたから立ち寄れなかったんだよね。車ゲットしたからついに行けました！
A roommate recommended the place to us, but we hadn’t to been able to drop by there before because we usually had a surfboard. Finally, we could do it!

中に入ってみるとおしゃれな雰囲気でビックリ。もっとしょぼいかと思ってた。
When I entered there, I was surprised that it was a nice and cool spot. Because at first, I thought it was more simple.

ここのメインはスーパーなので、野菜を調達。乳製品とか日用品とかも欲しかったけど、ウーリーズやコールスの方が安かったからそれらはまた今度。
We bought some veggies only. Actually, I wanna get some dairy and groceries, but Woolworth and Coles have cheaper ones, so I decided to buy them at the grocery store next time.
