Camellias in winter.
It's been a cold day in the northern hemisphere.
In Japan, there is a tradition to enjoy camellias that bloom during the cold season.
I used a combination of white flowers and a white vase, but I think I was able to create a soft warmth.
I have arranged this work before, but sometimes I look back at it and try to forget about severe cold.
北半球では寒い日が続きますね。
日本では、寒い時期に咲く椿を楽しむ風習があります。
白の花と白い花器を組み合わせましたが、やわらかい暖かさが出せたかなと思います。
以前生けた作品ですが、たまに見返すと冬の寒さを忘れることができます。
