I Use a Face Pack to Calm My Emotions

My recent health problems have turned out to be menopause, which means I feel physically and emotionally unstable.
I know that an emotional outburst never solves my problems, and more than anything else, it causes me to feel self-loathing. It’s nothing good.
 
I just want people to understand how I feel, though…
Is it only me that feels like emotional control is an essential condition if you're mature?
 
I know I’m not disciplined, and because of this, sometimes I overeat or go shopping and buy something impulsively, too. Finally, I have realized that even if I can get temporary happiness, the result is the same: I fall into self-loathing.
 
So, face packs are a good solution that I found to manage my emotions.
Recently, there has been a variety of face packs available. I can get value boxes containing 30 face packs for 2,000 yen, and I can also get a better quality one if I pay 500 yen or less. It's like a little treat for myself. When I go to drugstores or other cosmetic shops, I buy one if I find it looks nice and keep them and choose one according to my daily emotions.
Usually, I use a value pack one. When I'm feeling down, I use a better quality one.
 
Then, I get calm and mental peace. I can also skip the tedious skincare routine and just put one pack on my face at the end of the day. Along with a refreshing feeling, I am relieved to be able to finish the day finally, and put the emotional hustle and bustle of my life behind me.
 
This is how I manage my emotions, and I hope to be able to live with aging in a lovely way.
