A Short Story about Corporate Businessman: How He Changed His Life Through Online Digital Marketing Course (オンラインデジタルマーケティング講座の提出課題)

Once there was a man name Eita. He was a businessman who works in Tokyo. Everyday, he works from 9am to 7pm. He was a hard worker. By the time he gets home, he was exhausted. Only he could do after work was to take a shower, grab dinner and got to bed - this was his regular weekday routines.

Until one day, he accidentally opened a direct email from Udacity advertisement. At that time, he did not know what Udacity was. He skimmed through the email and noticed this was an advertisement related to an online digital marketing course. He knew he loved learning new things and wanted to take the next step in his career in advertising. Out of his curiosity, he went to YouTube to watch the reviews of the program - he was excited. He thought the course would enable him to learn digital marketing fundamentals through active learning programs. However, with his current routine, he would not be able to create time to complete the course. He had to change his approach on how he spends time. With his strong will and his hope that the program would be the game-changing moment, he decided to take the new step.

Because of that, he first altered the way he sets priorities and blocked time for studying. Changing routines were not easy, he had to wake up an hour earlier to open his laptop to study and come back home after work to study again. However, as time went by, he felt he was enjoying how he could take control of spending time and learning new things every day.

Because of that, after a month, he had no problem with his new routine. Waking up early in the morning also enabled him to do other things, such as going out for jogging and doing yoga. With his new learnings, he became more open to discuss digital marketing at work and to propose new ideas on digital and content strategies.

Ever since, he feels fulfilling in his life mentally and physically. The course has also helped him building confidence - he can create time if you are willing to do something you love. It is up to you to decide who you want to be.
