Why do I love reading books?

I love reading books, and also love watching movies.

These are not a thing to be compared, but I think reading books is the best deal.

First, the cost. We can buy one book around one thousand yen on average.
It fills us several hours to read, and sometimes bask in the afterglow of the book several days...
On the other hand, it costs around 2,000 yen per movie.

Second, it helps us improve our language capabilities and imagination.
It seems that movies include more information than books, but I think some books are more eloquence than Movies.
The pictures that we bring up in our mind of the scenes described in the book are much more vivid and detailed than those shown in movies.
Movie plots are rather simplified. We are much more vividly imagining scenes when we read.
