■略歴
書家。現代アーティスト。
奈良県出身奈良在住。
京都女子大学短期大学部文学部国語学科卒。
5歳から書道を初め、20歳にて書道師範取得。
2012年〜2023年に、奈良・大阪・東京にて個展5回開催。
2019年よりART SHODO の運動に参加。
以後ASF関連の展覧会に多数参加。
2022年ART SHODO SELECTION in Tokyoにて田中千秋氏セレクション優秀賞獲得
2023年GALLERLY SCENA企画「ART SHODO AGE」展参加

■アーティストステイトメント

物心つい頃から現在に至るまで、書は常に私とともにありました。
5歳の頃より書道の道に入り、20歳にて書道師範取得。
書壇には所属せず、心に響く言葉や文章を自分らしい書で表現することを追求し、その作品たちをSNSにて1日も休むことなく丸10年、発信することを続けていました。
そして次なる書の表現を求めていた時、書家であり現代アーティストの山本尚志氏と出会い、「ART SHODO」の世界に挑戦することを決意したのです。
今、私は人類が創り出した記号の中でも形成期の跡を色濃く残す「漢字」をモチーフに創作しています。
漢字は古代に生きた人間の感性や思想、哲学がその中に練り込まれていてるとても魅力的な文字であると同時に、書の起源と歴史に関わる文字でもあります。
時折、日常生活の中でふと浮かんだ言葉が、漢字という文字となって私の脳裏に映し出されることがあります。
それは、その漢字によって象徴されるものと、私が考える現代社会やそこに生きる人々のあり様とがシンクロする瞬間だと思います。
その状態を墨と筆で書き記す、文学でもなく絵画でもない表現方法、それが私の「書」なのです。

◇ Biography
Calligrapher.  contemporary artist. Born in Nara Prefecture, lives in Nara.  She graduated from Kyoto Women's University Junior College Literature Department.
Started calligraphy when she was 5years old, and at the age of 20,acquired a calligraphy teacher qualification
She has never belonged to an academic calligraphy organization, and has developed calligraphy activities on SNS.
 From 2012 to 2023 she held five solo exhibitions in Nara, Osaka and Tokyo.
 She has been participating in the ART SHODO movement since 2019.  Since then she has participated in many ASF related exhibitions.  In 2022, she won the Excellence Award at the Chiaki Tanaka Selection at ART SHODO SELDCTION in Tokyo.

◇ Artist statement
Calligraphy has always been with me since childhood.
I started calligraphy at the age of 5 and became a calligraphy teacher at the age of 20.
I never belonged to any academic calligraphy organization,pursued expressing words and sentences that resonate with me in my own way, and for 10 years, I had continued to post on SNS without taking a single day off.
And when I was looking for the next expression of calligraphy, I met calligrapher and contemporary artist Hisashi Yamamoto, and decided to challenge the world of "ART SHODO".
Now I'm creating works with writing "Kanji" as a motif.  Kanji is one of the three scripts used in Japanese language,and remains strongly reminiscent of the formative period.
Kanji are very attractive characters that incorporate the sensibilities, thoughts, and philosophies of people who lived in ancient times, and are also deeply related to the origin and history of oriental calligraphy.
In my daily life, words suddenly come to my mind ,and become Kanji and appear in my mind.
I think that is the moment when what is symbolized by the Kanji and my thoughts about modern society and the people who live there are in sync.
Writing down that state with ink and brush, neither literature nor painting, is my calligraphy.
