There is a Chinese proverb that goes something like this: "If you want to be happy for an hour, drink wine.

Do you have a hobby?

I think my fishing hobby is already beyond the realm of hobbies, but every hobby is expensive when you get down to it.

If you have a car hobby, every single part of the car is a digit or two different from that of other hobbies.

How about golf? I don't play golf, but if you get everything right from top to bottom, you probably need about 200,000 yen.

What about fishing?

In fact, I think fishing is the most versatile.

If you just want to get started, you can spend as little as 5,000 yen.

Many people start with bass fishing, but they want to buy more and more advanced fishing equipment, and they start to fish in mountain streams and the sea, and before you know it, you are hooked. It's a common occurrence.

The total cost of customizing this reel may or may not include the purchase of a motorcycle.

In the recent mountain stream scene, we often see women fishing. I have the impression that the range of age groups and genders of anglers is diversifying.

I am exclusively a mountain stream fisherman, so I combine fishing and mountain climbing at the same time.

Anyway, I think it is very important to have some form of escape in life in the name of a hobby.

And if you have a hobby that you can complete alone, that would be even better.

It could be reading, strength training, yoga, or even a sauna.

Just having a hobby often helps you without you even realizing it.
