“夕暮れ時の命に” 母を偲んで、

夕暮れ時は
人が　本来の自分を見つめるとき
その日一日の出来事を思い起こして
出会った人との出会いに感謝して
喜びにも 悲しみにも
笑顔で　あるいは涙で　感謝して

今生きていることを受け入れるとき
私は　この椅子に腰をおろして
あなたと　今ここに居ます

見えるのは　夕暮れ時の静けさ
感じるのは　この瞬間の澄んだ命
すべてを受け入れる大きな命

"Reflecting on Life at dusk" 

- in memory of my mother,

At dusk, it is that you reflect on your true life
Recalling what happened this day
With thanks for the events and the people
Whatever happened to you
Appreciating with joy or sorrow

Accepting that I am alive now
I sit down on this chair
being here with you this moment

All I can see is the serenity of dusk
All I can feel is the pure life of this moment
the Great Life that accepts everything
on this planet
