El Salvador's President Purchases $700 in New Bitcoin as Bitcoin Plummets

With bitcoin currently plummeting, the president of El Salvador, the first country in the world to make bitcoin legal tender, announced a massive purchase of bitcoin.

The President of El Salvador posted on Twitter, "Due to the drop in price we have acquired 150 new bitcoins. Now El Salvador will have 700 bitcoins," he posted.
 
In other words, El Salvador has about 550 bitcoins in its legal tender and recently bought 150 new bitcoins.

That 150 bitcoins is equivalent to about 6,496,305$ and 700 bitcoins is equivalent to about 30,374,610$.
