民藝の考え方を基本に、職人がひとつひとつ丁寧な手仕事で制作する革工房です。私たちの作品を通し、民藝の考えに触れる機会となれば嬉しいです。そして、多様化する社会の中、優れた手仕事を未来につなげたいと考えています。

lore + needles is an independent leather workshop where craftsmen make every items carefully by hand.

Our products are influenced by the philosophy of “Mingei (folk crafts)” which finds beauty in the everyday objects. “Mingei” focuses on the way of viewing and appreciating art and beauty in crafts that are practical and used in everyday life. 

Through our work at lore + needles, we hope it will give others the opportunity to get to know with the idea of Mingei, and in a diversifying society, we would like to pass on these excellent handicrafts to the future.

Our handcrafted everyday items are simple and humble and become more beautiful as the materials are used.

工房

2018年9月に鳥取県智頭町に移住。大自然に囲まれた美しい環境で制作しています。

Moved to Chizu, Torrori in September 2018. We work in a beautiful environment surrounded by nature.
