Pikmin Master's Pikmin 4 Review

When it comes to me, yes, Pikmin. I am a Pikmin Master. It's been a while. On July 21st, the new Pikmin 4, the first in 10 years, was released. Of course, I bought it and have been playing it. I took paid leave. As a self-proclaimed Pikmin Master, I absolutely cannot miss it. There are still things to do, so I can't do everything, but I have completed the story and treasures, so I will write a review article here.

Pikmin 3 was a perfect game. The game I played the most in my life was Pikmin 3. Even though it's not an RPG, I played it for about 2000 hours and sacrificed my student youth. It's no exaggeration to say that the work I make now is thanks to Pikmin. That's why I think about the sequel to such a game. What does the sequel to such a perfect game do??? And.

Nintendo's answer to such a super difficult question was clear. Make it easier to play and expand the reach. Perhaps the development side also thought that the play of Pikmin released in 3 was perfect. The operability tested in 3 Deluxe is also alive in 4.

The play of Dandori, which was divided into mission mode last time, is deeply involved in the story, and it feels like it is packed with devices that can be easily entered everywhere. The concept of leaf people was the best this time. It was the moment I realized that I was a leaf person. (The slightly ironic part is also good.) Otchin. It's a very cute dog. The representative of that device is the rescue dog, Otchin. Clearly, the ultimate strong cheat character joins the team. Otchin can basically do anything Pikmin can do. In addition, since it can also give instructions, it is not an eye for Hocotate people and Kopai people who can only give instructions. It's a very convenient existence, so I feel that the way of using Otchin will drastically change the Dandori of advanced players. It's probably the strongest in Pikmin history.

As mentioned in the interview article, Pikmin has different routes in 1 and 3 and 2. 1 and 3 are Pikmin with a directionality that sharpens the game nature thoroughly. As mentioned in the interview, this 4 is completely on the 2 route. 2 was a large volume game, but 4 has the impression that it is packed more than that.

I played really hard for 3 days, but I still feel the potential to show more depth. The picture book, which was not enough in 3, is also enriched, and familiar native creatures come out in droves. I thought it was a reunion. However, it is adjusted to be quite mild in order to expand the reach, so if you fight calmly, you should be fine.

I will also point out the bad points of 4.

I think there are people who care about the bad points when reading the article, so I will write it. This time's Pikmin uses UE4 (Unreal Engine), and because of that, the graphics are wonderful, but the tempo is very bad. The tempo of loading and conversation drama is very bad. If the load is so long, I want a device that doesn't get bored during the load time. The tempo is even worse because you enter the cave. (It can also be said that Pikmin originally has a very good tempo.) Another point I want to mention is that I didn't need Otchin's skill level... Depending on the skill level, you can decide whether or not to open the route, so it's not compatible with Dandori... I might have wanted to expand the reach with RPG elements, but I think the compatibility is bad. I tried to put it in the headline, but honestly, this is about the bad points. Overall, Pikmin is a game with a high degree of perfection as usual. It's a circle just to give an answer to the perfect sequel.

Super recommended for the first play of Pikmin. I was able to clear all areas without killing anyone...

I was very scared that 4 would be released. Given that it was a sequel to 3, which was so perfect, it is not difficult to imagine that there was a considerable discussion. Therefore, I think it took so much time, but the part of the play came out without any blur. It was a very happy answer for me as a series fan from Nintendo. I also think that the Sogeki of this 2P play is superior to the 2-player play of 3 in that you can play together without changing the game nature. It's very fun to be able to share the same screen. I really like the modernity that is full of live performances. 4, which is devoted to expanding the reach, is of course recommended for Pikmin beginners. There is no doubt that it is a difficult game, but there is no doubt that it is interesting, so please try playing it.
