「TOEFL・IELTS・GMAT 英英単語」の電子書籍を出版したので紹介させていただきます。

TOEFL、IELTS、およびGMATはいずれも高等教育や専門職への進学のための標準化試験ですが、目的と内容が異なります。

1. TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language):

   • 目的：主にアメリカ合衆国の大学で英語が母語ではない学生の英語能力を評価するために使用されます。

   • 内容：リーディング、リスニング、スピーキング、ライティングの4つのセクションで構成されており、アカデミックな英語の使用能力を測定します。

2. IELTS (International English Language Testing System):

   • 目的：英国、オーストラリア、カナダ、ニュージーランド、その他英語圏の国々の教育機関や職場での英語使用能力を評価します。

   • 内容：リーディング、リスニング、スピーキング、ライティングの4セクションで、アカデミック版と一般トレーニング版の二つのバージョンがあります。アカデミック版は高等教育を目指す者向け、一般トレーニング版は職業訓練や移民を目的とした英語能力を測定します。

3. GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test):

   • 目的：主にビジネススクール（MBAプログラムなど）の入学選考用に設計された試験で、特に管理職に求められるスキルの評価に焦点を当てています。

   • 内容：量的セクション、言語セクション、統合推論セクション、および分析的ライティングアセスメントから構成されています。数学的なスキル、批判的思考、論理的推理、データ分析の能力が問われます。

これらの試験はそれぞれ異なるニーズに応えるよう設計されており、受験者は自分のキャリア目標や学習目的に応じて最適な試験を選択する必要があります。

　the process of getting better at doing something, or getting closer to finishing or achieving something

・property

　the thing or things that someone owns

・verify

　to discover whether something is correct or true

・anguish

　mental or physical suffering caused by extreme pain or worry

・burden

　something difficult or worrying that you are responsible for

・chaos

　a situation in which everything is happening in a confused way and nothing is organized or arranged in order

・defect

　a fault or a lack of something that means that something or someone is not perfect

・defense

　the act of protecting something or someone from attack

・evaporate

　if a liquid evaporates, or if heat evaporates it, it changes into a gas

・deteriorate

　to become worse

・humid

　if the weather is humid, you feel uncomfortable because the air is very wet and usually hot
