We'll be friend until one of us dies.

One of the great things about starting to learn English is that I've been able to make friends with people beyond borders, genders, and ages. When I first met him, I don't think either of us had a particularly good impression of each other. However, after experiencing various things over the past four years, I believe we've become very good friend. The other day, I had a conversation with my friend after a long time. I made sure to take notes so I wouldn't forget what my friend was saying.

No matter what choices you make, I think it's okay. It's something everyone experiences as humans. I won't judge you based on that. You remain who you are, always kind and heartfelt, constantly caring for others. But above all, prioritize your own feelings. If it feels right for you, then it's good. If someone ever hurts you, I won't forgive them. If you're not comfortable, then I'm not either. When you're sad, I feel sad too. If you're smiling, I'll smile too. So always focus on your emotions and strive for comfort. We've shared everything until now, so there's no need to hide anything. I'll accept all of you.

The day I saw you off at the airport, I couldn't stop crying on my way back. Saying goodbye to you and your son at the airport, with him waving and calling out, "Teacher, teacher, teacher, see you again!" The seen was overwhelmed me with loneliness. I openly cried, and even nearby airport staff asked if I was okay—it was that intense.

We may not talk online every day like before, but we're still friends. We'll be friends until one of us dies.

He has been the teacher who has supported me since I started learning English. At first, my English was so bad that he often got frustrated. Also, there were times when we had discussions due to misunderstandings caused by language barriers.

However, as we overcame various challenges like the pandemic, a massive typhoon hitting them directly, illnesses, and problems in friendship, we came to understand and trust each other more deeply. Now, he's not teaching me English anymore, but he remains one of my dearest friend. Through him, I've gained many other companions. Some of the closest members even go on trips together. I think it's all because I started learning English.

My journey with English is far from over. I want to learn English as quickly as possible so that we can have even better conversations with each other.
