深読み：バクティ（信愛）

The leaders of the schools of thoughts have no differences of opinion on the path for sadhana needed for the sadhakas desiring to arrive at the “Para Tatva.” All of them agree on the need for firm bhakti and yoga using the “Suddha Satvika” as its foundation.

1) Bhakti is the common pillar for all the three schools of thoughts.
2) There are no differences among the three schools in relation to that Bhakti.
3) The three leaders and their followers should jointly propagate the path of Bhakti.
4) Sanskrit, the root language of the Hindu Dharma must be learnt and respected by all.

In his speech, Swamiji told the gathering, “This is the place for Bhakti Yoga. The devotees gathered have been blessed by the arrival of the heads of the Peetas to this ashrama. We desire to build a hall that is to be respected by the followers of the three schools. We would like to install the images of the three acharyas.” This was received with great applause from the audience gathered.

スワミジは、ヒンドゥ教の内部で学派が3つに分かれ、学派間に壁が生じて、無交流、無関心が起こっていることに心を痛めました。ところが、各学派の指導者たちの間には、至高の真実にたどり着くための霊性修養の道のあり方については異論がなく、しかも堅固なバクティ（信愛）と超純質な原理に基づくヨーガが必要であることにも同意していました。

要するに、学派ごとに分断されていたものの、本質的な考えは一致しており、ただ各派指導者同士の対話の機会が失われていたことにスワミジは気がついたのです。

しかし、現実はまさに「言うは易く行うは難し」でした。スワミジは勇気を持って一歩踏み出し、綿密な計画を練り、忍耐強くオーガナイズしてゆきました。そして5年ほどの血の滲むような努力の結果、各派の頭首が参加する会合を開くことにこぎつけました。

その会合では各派党首の学術的な研究に基づく討論の結果、各派党首は共同声明を出す運びとなりました。そこには、バクティ（信愛）が3学派の共通の支柱であることが表明されています。
