I can't help but comment again. As mentioned in another video by Mr. Sagawa, his playing is so different from everyone else's. Yes, there are so many wonderful, world class pianists in this competition and (especially this year) it's seems almost impossible to make a satisfactory judgement because so many pianists have something special in their playing.
But: There is something about Mr. Sagawa's playing that goes beyond our earthly world, that is so subtle, so delicate, so honest, so transcendent and out of this world that it touches the deepest bottom of my soul and heart. As a pianist, I've waited SO long for someone like Sagawa-san and none of my words are able to describe what a special divine quality resonates in his tones. His piano playing is truly a gift from God to this world. Thank you, Sagawa-san.

This person is a genius. He is so immersed in the world of sound he plays that I dare to suppose he is likely to be the prodigy model for the novel < Honeybees and Distant Thunder> (by Riku Onda)
I'm a simple listener, so I don't know whether this person meets Chopin Concours's standards or is too much.
But I can't help but confess that I've completely fallen into his playing world.
I'm curious about what he would be like as a concert pianist, not as a soloist, so I eagerly hope this person would advance to the finals.

Wow, his performance is so elegant, especially ballade and nocturne were something special. His sound is very pure.

聞いていてショパンの愛の世界に惹き込まれるような感覚になりました。
ショパンのラブレターという感じで、優しく甘く囁いているようです。

ピアノと一体化して、弱音から重音まで自由自在に響かせている…　研究心と練習量の賜物ですね。繊細かつドラマチックな演奏が心に残りました。

学者さんのような風貌ですが（医師の卵なので実際そうですが）、情熱あふれる演奏に感銘をうけました。2足の草鞋の天才さん、今後も注目させて頂きます。

I listened to Mr.Sohgo Sawada's performance at a live concert early at 4:00 a.m. Japan time on the 4th.Since then, I have listened to it many times.
While listening to his performance of Nocturne Op.27-1 during my break from work, I looked at the blue autumn sky.
The beauty of his performance and the blue sky seemed to penetrate deep into my heart, and I was moved to tears.
I believe that the sounds he plays have the power to gently unwind and heal people's hearts.
I would like to listen to more of his performances.
