I changed my pronouns to “bitch”

I oppose the movement to make drag queens a rainbow icon, as it tends to depoliticize their political significance, as a trans SW person.

However, as a feminist leather dyke, or transmasc, I simultaneously reclaim “call me bitch with respect” as written in my slam poem “Mistrex Takes to the Stage”

“Bitch" is a term typically used by men to derogatorily refer to women, and it's sometimes reclaimed similarly to "queer" by women. I have been called a bitch, I have called myself a bitch, and I love our bitch more than anyone else.

I dance like a cisgender gay man does as a queen, but I'm a transmasculine genderqueer, not conforming to the gender binary or heteronormativity. I am not a master or mistress. I am “Mistrex”. But call me anything you want because no one can change who I am.

We are welcome you to call us bitch with respect by ABCD: Anyone But Cis Dudes.

My Kind Explanation:

In relation to my identity, my assertions are complex. They are as follows:

1. Do not depoliticize the political significance of drag queens.
2. Anyone other than cisgender men may respectfully refer to me as "bitch."
3. My pronouns are "bitch.” You know, pronouns should be what the person prefers to use.

I am simultaneously asserting these three points. This setup conveys the message that individuals who identify as cisgender men should only refer to me by name.

PLEASE stop assuming this ASIAN woman don't understand English or North American culture. It's irresponsible to blame others for things you don't understand.
