I have always struggled with mathematics. Every year, I would be disappointed with the math teacher during the first class, so I barely paid attention to the lessons afterward.
But lack of attention is not part of my natural disposition.
For the university entrance exam in probability and statistics, I disliked memorizing formulas so much that I drew all the tree diagrams and counted them. The time required for this was just about right, and I always got all the questions correct.
Although I also had an extreme aversion to geometry, when I took an intelligence test after taking stress leave from work, I found that I could solve questions about geometric shapes almost instantaneously.
So, I want to study mathematics again in the best way for me.
