MoF not allowed JSW local production of AMV

On 28 March the 2024 Defence Budget was approved.
The Japan Ground Self Defense Force(GSDF) will procure the following armoured vehicles and artillery Systems: 10 Type 10 tanks (JPY16.8 billion), 19 Type 16 Manoeuvre Combat Vehicle(MCV) (JPY 17.1 billion ), 16 Type 19 self-propelled 155 mm howitzers (JPY 15.1 billion), newly developed 24 Infantry Fighting Vehicles(ICV) variant of 8x8 Common Tactical Wheeled Vehicle(CTWV) (24.6 billion JPY) and 28 Armoured Personnel Carrier(APC)of AMV XP(AMV) was adapt as the Next Generation Wheeled Armoured vehicles(NGWAV). The AMV XP has (JPY 20.3 billion).
