Kobe Sketch （Kobe's attractive spot)

Today, I'm going to introduce my hometown, the city of Kobe.This is a kind of series of my Kobe report. I hope you'll enjoy listening this program.
Now, I'm in the Meriken park and Harborland, Kobe's famous waterfront, which is located in the south of JR Motomchi or Kobe station.It takes about 10 minutes' walk from the station.
The word Meriken is a Japanese-English word, which means American.
In ancient times, it is said Japanese people heard it that way as foreigners spoke.
Kobe city is famous for its beautiful landscape as well as port.
If you were here, you would feel comfortable with beatiful scenery, ocean view and ocean breeze around you.
In summer, you can also enjoy watching hanabi, beautiful fireworks around this area.
Moreover, you can find a small memorial park about Kobe great earthquake happened in 1995 to study how damage this area.
Recently, one more aquarium has opened in this area. You can get togher to visit and enjoy your stay in Kobe.
