Emergence of the Metaverse

Today, I'm going to talk about the Metaverse. It's a coined word that means the virtual space of the internet. It is said that the word originally comes from meta, meaning 'beyond', and universe, meaning 'world' or 'space'.

People can communicate with others and conduct their own business by operating their own avatar in the metaverse, which they enter through VR goggles . Avatars are your alter egos.

People can also enjoy playing games, events, and even earn money known as cryptocurrencies such as Coincheck, through their own avaters.

Avatars can gather information, share ideas and opinions, on behalf of people in the metaverse, also known as three-dimensional space.

The metaverse is different from VR, or virtual reality. When you think of VR, you might imagine people wearing goggles and are playing games or watching videos by themselves as you know.

Although it may be unclear where the boundary is between 3D space and reality, it seems to be a characteristic point and also interesting.

Metaverse is under development. It is said that metaverse could be an $800 billion market, the next technology platform. We need to follow how the metaverse will continue to produce fruitful results for people in the future.
