１、台湾総統選で民主進歩党（民進党）の頼副総統が当選

蔡英文総統の次の総統は頼氏に決まった。中国に対して強硬路線は変わらない。しかし、議席数か過半数を上回っておらず、野党国民党が最大議席を確保しているため、予算案など民進党の思い通りに台湾を引っ張っていけるかが懸念点。
