Exchange culture Day175

Today, during activity class, I had plenty of time to talk with an international student who came from France.  I have known his presence, but I have never spoken to him. 
I was nervous to speak to him, and he likewise. 
However, once we started talking, we immersed ourselves in conversation about how we felt living in Australia so far. 
In a similar position where we came here for doing experience, our motivation and plans were set high bar. 
Especially, in his case, he came to Australia during his long vacation to learn something alone. I was taken aback by how decisive as well as wise he is. 
I was also stimulated by his mindset and realized again that there is always someone above. 
I don't want to overestimate myself, even though I follow through with my goal.
That is just my goal…. other must be bigger than mine.

We discovered that we were in similar situations, both having come here to gain new experiences with high motivation and ambitious plans. In his case, he came to Australia during his long vacation to learn and explore on his own. I was taken aback by how decisive and wise he is. His mindset was very stimulating, and it made me realize again that there's always someone more advanced in some way.

I don't want to overestimate myself, even though I am committed to my goals. My goals are just that—my goals. There are others with even bigger aspirations.
