①Clouds are made of water and small pieces of ice. When sunlight hits that ball of water and ice, the light hits the water like a mirror and it shines back. Light hits the water and shines in many different directions.
When a lot of light mixes together, the clouds look "white" to us.
But some clouds are made of a lot more water and ice. Then, it's difficult for the sunlight to pass through those clouds and light cannot shine. Those clouds look "Black" to us.

②Dark clouds have a lot of water. If they have too much water, they drop it. That's rain.
