curatorとして参加する3回目のTechnique Tuesdays。

Woodcut printing originated in China and spread globally, evolving distinctively in places like Japan and Europe. It's a method where designs are carved onto wood blocks, then inked and pressed onto paper. This technique was widely used for various purposes, including religious art, book illustrations, posters, and flyers, due to its cost-effectiveness and ability to produce multiple copies. In Japan's Edo period, Ukiyo-e woodcuts became popular, depicting scenes of everyday life, kabuki actors, and landscapes. In Europe, woodcut printing gained prominence around the 14th century, initially for religious images, with notable artists like Albrecht Dürer later contributing to the medium. **Prompt:** - **Overall Format**: Create an image - **Subject**: 14th-century world map - **Subject Details**: Reflecting the historical and geographical context of the 14th century, capturing how the world was perceived and mapped at that time - **Art Style**: Woodcut printing technique - **Overall Supplement**: The artwork should showcase the intricate details possible with wood carving, emphasizing bold lines and dramatic contrasts typical of this printing method - **Flavor**: The texture of the wood and the natural variations in the ink application should be evident, adding depth and authenticity to the depiction

```Visualize an image with sumi ink on textured high-quality Japanese paper. In the year 3000, a retro android and flying cars are depicted in a future vision of traditional woodcut printing. The android, having apprenticed with master craftsmen, has become an expert in woodblock printing, mastering the tacit knowledge through hands-on learning. The artwork harmoniously blends heartwarming science fiction with the aesthetics of woodcut art, using a monochrome palette to emphasize the stark contrasts and distinct textures typical of woodcut prints. The luxurious use of high-quality Japanese paper represents a lavish melding of tradition and futuristic landscapes, captured under the intense contrast of a midday summer sun. An underlying study focuses on human concentration errors to replicate the analog feel in the artwork. ```
```Visualize the guardian, a high-quality illustration of a figure clad in Japanese Sengoku period armor, exuding an overwhelming presence. The art is in the style of woodcut printing on textured washi paper, drawn with black ink that includes the grain of the wood, creating a monochrome effect. To convey a sense of impermanence, maple leaves are depicted swirling in the air.
