What's the real purpose of education?

最低限の教育を受けられないと？
・危険なことが分からない
・生きるために必要な知識を得られない
・仕事を選べない

では、日本のように義務教育で最低限の教育は受けられる環境にあって、良い成績を取ることを目的に勉強する子供が多い国において、勉強を頑張る意味とは？

わたしが思うに、そういう国においては、知識の差は成績でしか測れない。
経験の差による知識の差は、客観的には測れない。

客観的に測った学力で、大学のレベルが決まり、その大学には同じレベルの人がいる。
なるべくたくさん頑張って、高いとされる大学に行けば、様々なフィールドに根ざした知識を持つ人たちに出会える。
そんな人たちと対等に、同じ環境で過ごすと、知らない世界も教えてくれ、自分を高めてくれる。
そしていろんな選択肢を得て、自分の将来について広い視野で考えられるようになる。

要は、将来の選択肢を広げるために勉強を頑張るということだと思います。
あくまで個人的な考えです。

What's happend if someone doesn't have any educational opportunity?
・He can't tell what is dangerous
・He can't get knowledge substantial to live
・He can't choose a job

However, Japan has an educational system in which everyone can get educational service at elementary school and junior high school.
Most people usually study hard for good grades. In this country, what's the reason for studying hard?

In my opinion, in those country, we can only measure one's knowledge by grades. We can't tell the level of knowledge or experience objectively.

We decide the unversity depends on one's measured level of knowledge. And we can meet people with same level of knowledge in that unversity.

I don't say that all of the people in good university have well experience and knowledge, but I think there are many people who have knowledge to the various fields.

If you study there, you can meet various type of people who would tell you a lot of things you've never known.
You will be able to get wide perspective, and　probability think about your future with much possibility.

To sum it up, people can make their thought widely by studying hard.
This is just only my opinion.
