#188 クリスマスは家でのんびりしたいかもしれない (Nice to chill out at home for Christmas night!）

３年ぶりのオフラインクリスマスパーティーなんか、ちょっと盛り上がって楽しかった。主催してくれたメンバーは楽しかったかしら（大変だったか？）一旦今年の会社イベントはほぼ終わり。メンバーによっては、お国に帰ってリモートワークからの年末年始休暇という人も来週あたりから出てきます。リモートワークしやすい会社で良かった。

クイズで日本のクリスマスというテーマでのクイズが５問あったのに、一つも答えられないという奇跡が起こりました。。。ダメかもしれない。やはり人気があったクイズは日本でクリスマスに人気のテイクアウトは？というクイズの答えがケンタッキーだったこと（笑）理由を聞かれても答えられない。。。日本人がカップルで行きたいデート！も答えられなかった（悲報）なんだろう？

株式会社けっこんものがたりの2022の調査によると、30代パートナーありの男女の理想のクリスマスデートは、、、「家でのんびり」だそうです（右の図）。ちなみに会社のクイズのときには「イルミネーション」でした。30代だけじゃなければそうなのかもしれない。とはいえイルミネーションや夜景も男女共に第２位！やはり人気。シンガポールでもオーチャードという銀座的なストリートは毎年「日立」スポンサーでライトアップされることで有名。みんな好きなんだなぁ。

ちなみにパートナーへのプレゼントの予算を同じく30代で調べたのが左の図。主力（？）は1万円から3万円で男女ともに40%以上。自分の昔を思い出してもそのくらいだったような気がしないでもない。オーストラリアにいた貧乏学生時代以外は。いや、そもそもパートナーがいた期間のほうがそもそも短かった。。。今だったら何をしたいって思うんだろう。日本にいたらやはり寒いから家にいたいって思ってしまうかも。いや、まずパートナーがいたらの話ですね。

Its been 3 years having off line company Christmas part in the office. Although it might have been tough for organizers, it was really fun having few activities across teams. I guess this would be the last 2022 company event. Some members would go back to their home country, working from remote then straight away get into year end holiday. It is nice that it is relatively easier for my company to work from remote!

In the party, we got few quiz about Japanese Christmas but I couldn't answer to any of them… Too bad, I might not be able to claim that I'm a Japanese. One of the best for people joining was what is the most popular take away food for Japanese Christmas dinner? Then the answer was KFC Lol Yes, it is correct but I don't know why it is chicken or even KFC. I also couldn't answer to What Japanese couples want to do for Christmas dating? (Sad). What is that?

According to Kekkon Monogatari (2022), 30s who have a partner want to spend the Christmas day chilling at home!! (right chart) Ops. The right answer in the quiz was "Christmas illumination". I assume it can be that if it includes younger generations (Maybe). Anyway it is the second in the report and very popular to people. Singapore orchard street is also famous for its annual Hitachi Christmas illumination. Everybody likes it.

By the way, the left chart shows how much is the budget for Christmas present to their partner. Then the major range is from 10k to 30k JPY by over 40% for both male and female. That is understandable from my experience to except the days in Australia. I was a poor international student at that time Lol. Well I'm wondering how many Christmas did I have a partner in my 30s??  What I would love to have if I spend a Christmas now? If I were in Japan I would say I want to spend at home since it would be too cold to go out… Well if I had a partner… Lol
