#128 日本のグッズをシンガポールでもつかってみたい (How do you survive summer in Japan?)

シンガポールに住んでます。なので感覚的にはずっと夏なのですが、軽くですが涼しい時期と暑い時期があったりします（気のせいかも）。日本の夏と比べてどうなの？と聞かれることがあります。周りの人と話すと真夏は東京のほうが過ごしにくい、といわれることが多いような。シンガポールだと気温は最高32-33度くらいで、確かに極端に40度とかに上がることはないですね。シンガポールは感覚的には日が落ちるとジョギングが快適なくらいには下がります。まあ、それは日本もそうか。

湿度も結構シンガポールと、東京は近い感じです。高いときには80%をがっつり超えていきます。というわけで、どっちも昼間は外に出たくはないという感じですが、どうでしょう。。。なんか日本では暑さ対策グッズがいろいろ出ているということなので、紹介したらシンガポールではやったりしないかしら？シンガポールなら一年中使えるし。

株式会社 JR 東日本クロスステーション ウォータービジネスカンパニー（2022）によると、上記のようなGood?日本で良く使われているとのこと。帽子、日傘はシンガポールでももちろん良く見ますが、団扇とか扇子はあまり持っている人をみないような（自信はない）。まあ、シンガポールは室内は結構な寒さなので、室内でしか人に会わないとわからないかも。でも携帯型扇風機は海外の方がむしろ早くからみていた気がする。今は日本でも17%の人が使っていると聞いて結構びっくりしました。

この記事を読むまで冷感スプレーとか、冷感インナー、冷却用タオルというのは知りませんでした。なんか日本らしい細かい工夫でちょっと素敵。冷感インナーというには着るとヒヤッとする生地でできているインナーとのこと。これとシンガポールの暑さを戦わせたいという気はちょっとするので、こんど日本に行ったときには買って帰ろうかと。20%ということは5人に一人は使っているってことだもんね。スゴイ効き目のはず。。。

I live in Singapore currently. So practically it all day summer from Japanese point of view. There seems to be slightly cool days and hotter days but maybe not… Frequently asked question is how do you feel living in Singapore compared with summer in Tokyo? Many of my friends say that summer in Tokyo is worse than in Singapore… Well the max temperature in Singapore is around 32-33 degree which is lower than somedays which hit to around 40 degree in Tokyo. It is down to the temperature to be able to comfortable go jogging in Singapore which I think is similar in Tokyo.

Humidity is also similar in Singapore and Tokyo I think. it is over 80% when its high. So personally I don't want to go out either in Tokyo and Singapore… By the way I found that there are many cooling device in Japan and I'm wondering if it becomes popular in Singapore someday. Maybe you use them longer in Singapore than in Japan… Then you can make it happy to run?

According to  JR East Cross Station Co.,Ltd (2022), Tools like above chart is used in Japan. Hat and umbrella, are used in Singapore too. But I seldom see hand fan in Singapore (Not confident…) Actually indoor is very cold in Singapore so I don't know how people survive outside… In a mean time, mobile fan is seen in Singapore even earlier than in Japan. I'm actually surprised to hear that it is used by 17% of people in Japan!

I didn't know about cooling spry, cooling inner and cooling towel before reading this report. I found those minor invention quite Japanese and love them. Cooling inner is the under wear which you feel cool when you wear them. I really want to try it in Singapore to see if it works for Singapore weather… So I'll buy it when I visit Japan next time. It is use for 20% of people in Japan so it should work nice, I believe…
