#159 求人過多 (recruitment over application )

最近少しオフィスに人が増えています。プロジェクトが増えてきていて、採用を増やしているという感じでしょうか。新しい人が入ってくるのはいつも楽しみではある。うちに入ってくるのは大概面白い人なので。。。？ここでいつも疑問が。変な人を採用しているのか、それとも雰囲気でおかしくなっていくのか。採用基準に「面白い人」というのが入っているわけではないはず（知っている限り）。なんでだろ？？

シンガポールは全体的には今は売り手市場。求人数の方が多いので、要求される給与も高いという状況で採用するのは結構たいへんです。個人的には自分に高すぎる値段がついたら、期待値も激上がりするかもと怖くなってしまいそうな気がするけど、そんなこともないんだろうか。コロナで控えていた採用が動いている感じなので、日本もたぶん同じですよね？

マイナビキャリアリサーチLab調べによると、求人数は前年同月比で2022年は継続的に約20%以上増えている様子（左のグラフ）。おー、やはり状況は同じかしら。求人数は増え続けている。。。けど、応募者数は全然増えていない。というか減っている。なんでだろ。今の会社で急に満足しだしたから？（そんなこともなさそう）それとも募集が多い職種は人気がないとかはありそう？（不謹慎）

掲載数が増えている職種の上位はというと（右の図）、観光関連、フード・アミューズメントなどなどやはりコロナで止まっていたところが多い感じでしょうか。ここは今確かに人気がないのかもしれない（残念）。ちょっと興味深いのは公共サービスとか教育がやけに採用が増えているところ。実際にちょっと覗いてみましたが、特別に今じゃないとという感じではなさそう。やっぱりこういうのには機運というかムード的なものがあるんだろうか。

We are hiring. That is the word I see often and my company has few new members joining recently. I'm always looking forward to seeing new hires since they are basically "funny". I'm wondering what drives for my company to have these funny people. Is it because I hire funny people or company culture makes people a bit funny? (Maybe both). At lease I don't set "funny" as a recruiting criteria, Hahahaha. Why?

Recently Singapore, employment condition is good for those who are looking for a job. It is tough to hire members in Singapore because of the spike of Salary required. I'm personally scared of being priced too high because it might cause too high expectation to me, but how do you feel? Well, it is simply many companies started to hire more after the silence of COVID. So I guess the situation is the same in Japan.

According to Mynavi career research Lab (2022) jobs opened are continuously around 20% higher than the last year (Blue line). Yes. It is the same as Singapore as I expected. Companies open more jobs to the market. However… Red line (number of applicants) goes much lower than the last year…?? Um. I guess its a good opportunity to sell yourself high but why? Are they satisfied with their current job? (I'm sure not). Are jobs open now not very popular?? (really?)

Industry of top growing listed jobs (right table) are tourism related, food, entertainment which suffered a lot from COVID. Understandable. Also it is understandable that those are recognized are not stable jobs now… What I found interesting is the increase in public service and education. I don't know what drives it. I had a look at the actual recruitment documents but it doesn't look something related to COVID. Maybe there is a mood of hiring in this case. It would be nice if companies in Japan started to think that it is time to invest more on employment!
