#129社会人１年目と社会人２年目 (When you are a graduate and a year after...)

シンガポールのオフィスでは実は結構新卒採用をしています。学校と協力してインターンシッププログラムを採用し、その卒業生からの採用も多いですし、通常ルートでも新卒での申込者がくることもあります。とは言えシンガポールの場合、学生時代に３－６ヶ月というインターンシップを経験してくることもあり、基本大人っぽいと感じています。それなりに社会人しているというか。いや、ひょっとしたら僕がしらないだけで日本の大学生もいまや大人っぽいのかもしれないとも思う（たぶんそう）。

やっぱり大人として心が汚れてはいけない（？）と思うものの、やはり１年目とそれ以外（？）ではやはり見ているものが違う気がする。話していてもなかなか眩しくて目が見れない。。。いやー、なんとか模範になれないものか（多分むり）いや、こんなことで新卒の方を神聖化してはいけない、２年目以降も頑張っているに違いない。どうだろう？

上記はソニーライフ生命株式会社の2022年の調査による、社会人1年目と2年目を比較したこれからどのようなことに力を入れていきたいと思っているかという質問の答えです。面白そうなところになんとなく色をつけてみました。「仕事に励む」は1年目の37%から2年目は19%に急落。いやいや、違うんですやる気がなくなったわけではなくて、仕事ができるようになって余裕が出てきただけです（たぶん）。一方恋愛や、趣味は2年目がやや上がりしてます。やっぱり、仕事に余裕がでてきた証ですね（たぶん）！

というか、仕事関連は基本2年目の方が低いんですよね。ただ「スキルアップ」はちょっと２年目が高い！すばらしい。転職がんばろうとスキルアップですね。いや、仕事関連は前ほど力を入れたくないけど、スキルアップは頑張るから邪推すると。。。まあそんなことは無いか。

I hire new graduates in Singapore office often. We apply internship program with some schools and some decided to join to us after that. Or we just find application from students'. I don't know what perception do you have for the word "new graduates" but actually those in Singapore look so mature than i thought they are. Maybe because most of them have experienced 3-6 month internship when they are students. No, maybe what I know is old Japanese days but recent students in Japan can also be mature.

While I'm trying my best to keep myself as pure as possible, I think my perception about work is not the same as those who just graduated and started working. I'm guilty enough to see their pure eyes (Sad). Possibly I can be a good role model for them but maybe not possible (Sad). Maybe I see those who work wrongly. They also have as pure motivation as new graduates!! No?

The chart above refers to a report, Sony Life Insurance Co., Ltd. (2022) which describes "what you want to focus on in your life this year" to compare new graduates and the 2nd year workers in Japan. I highlighted options which I found interesting. "Work" reduced from 37% to 19%.  Pleas don't get it wrong (?). I think it is not that they lost passion to work but just got used to it and don't need to focus that much for the productivity (Hopefully). In a mean time, Partner/dating and hobby increased a bit in 2nd year. Good, I guess they got used to work and started to enjoy life?? (Hopefully).

By the way I found that work related options are mostly low in second year except for "Skill improvement". Good! I assume people want to improve their skill to get better jobs?? Considering from the data above that people lost their motivation to current work and want to improve their skill more?? No, I took it too negative… Maybe…
