#154 都道府県魅力ランキングの照れくささ (How popular is your prefecture in Japan?)

コロナに入ってからできた新しい楽しみ？趣味？があります。それは日本の不動産の賃貸情報を見ること（笑）間取り図見てるのが楽しいって共感してくれる人いるかしら。特に海外にいるので、日本に帰ったらどこに住もうかな、とかを妄想して脈絡もなく沖縄とかの物件を見て、ほうほう、と唸ってたりします。楽しい。

実は今シンガポールオフィスで一つ面白い日本のサービスに登録してます。株式会社ICHIGO（ReferenceのICHIGOにURL）のSAKURAKOというサービスで月に一度日本から、毎月選ばれたトピックに関してのお菓子などの詰め合わせが届くのです。英語で丁寧に地域や、入っているものの情報が説明されているパンフレットがついていて、オフィスのメンバーにも楽しんでもらってます。７月に登録して３個めが最近届きました。最初が沖縄、次が京都、今月が茨城でした。ほう、茨城。

それは当然弊社メンバーから質問が来るわけです。「茨城県」ってどこ？まあおそらく神奈川県だとしても来た質問ではあるはず。だが沖縄、京都と来て次が茨城だったので日本人の感覚としてはなんて公平な会社なんだと、拍手喝采です。弊社メンバー（調査会社）なので上記、ちょっと余計なお世話感のあるランキングを見つけてきました。株式会社ブランド総合研究所（2022)によるカノ有名な地域ブランド調査の最新ランキングでは茨城県は47位でした。。。

都道府県魅力度ランキングというなんともいえない名前がついているので、別に住んでいる人が感じる魅力とは関係ないとは分かっていても、下位に来るとやや照れくさい。ちなみに北海道は13年連続の1位だとのこと。そしてこのランキングを見ちゃうとなんで我が社（？）はこんなに下がったのだ？となって詳細なレポートを買ってしまうのだ。天才か？個人的には茨城県の賃貸情報も見ましたよ。都心にも出やすくて結構良かった。

I got new hobby during CB (Circuit breaker)  in Singapore which is having a look at property information for rent in Japan. Is there anybody who can agree on how fun is it to have a look at floor maps? Being overseas, I just consider where would be a good place to live if I go back to Japan Lol

By the way, my company (Singapore office) subscribed to one service in Japan. That is called SAKURAKO by Ichigo Inc. They decide one topic (region) in Japan and sent us, subscribers a pack of confectionaries related to the topic from Japan per month. I assume our non-Japanese employees enjoy variety of goods in the box with a beautiful English broacher which describe the detail about the topic and each goods in the pack! We subscribed it on July and the 1st was Okinawa, 2nd was Kyoto and the recent one was Ibaraki. Oh, Ibaraki?

Of course, I got a question from members, where is it? Well, it shouldn't be only for Ibaraki but it could come maybe if it is Kanagawa too. However as a Japanese, I got a bit surprised about their choice that it comes after Okinawa & Kyoto. Also I found it very fair and my impression to the company became even better!! The reason of it can be seen on the chart above (Brand Research Institute, Inc. (2022)) That is the famous survey about attractiveness of a prefecture in Japan. Very controversial honestly. Then Ibaraki is ranked 47 (Bottom) in the report… Sad.

Since the chart is called "Prefecture attractiveness ranking", we know that it is nothing to do with perception of people who live there, we are a bit embarrassed if our own area is ranked low… It seems Hokkaido is ranked top for 13 years continuously! Then people working on for those area think that why my area dropped this much and buy a detail report on the same site. Great marketing… Lol I personally think Ibaraki is good place to live and I had a look at property information there…
