#82 地震で会社に行きたくない (Earthquake demotivated us to work)

シンガポールに帰る前日になりました。会っていただいたみなさま、お世話になりました（お辞儀）。実は冬には日本ではあまり買い物ができないので、帰りの荷物の量は行きとそんなに変わらなかったです。あ、夏には洋服が買えるのですが、冬は買ってもシンガポールの気候に合わないので。。。食べ物が少しといただきものや、お土産が少しといったところでしょうか。ただスーツケース自体は東京が暖かくなって着なくなったダウンジャケットを無理に詰め込もうとしてパンパンにしてしまいました。。。２ヶ月もいると季節が変わるということを全く忘れていたので、日本で季節の変化に対応できなかった（笑）

そして荷物の準備をほぼ終え、Airbnbで借りた部屋の片付けをしていたときに、、揺れました。結構大きく。皆様ご無事でしたでしょうか？住んでいるたエリアではさほど影響はなく、飛行機も無事に飛んだのですが飛んでいるあいだも少し日本の状況が気になっていました。

上記は例（？）のTwitterのデータ（ここ）で作成している会社行きたくない指数（手前味噌が過ぎる）ですが、、やはり16日の夜から17日の朝にかけて予測との差が大ズレしています（Hasegawa,2022）。出現している単語のランキングでも地震、余震、揺れなどがあってさらに、明日朝の電車を心配するツイートも多く見かけました。経験則レベルですが、予測値と実測値の間が50くらい離れているときには何かが起きている。。。かもしれないと思っています。今回の予測差のレベルとしては、正月の大雪のときと同じくらいでした（大体）。

いま、ローデータ（？）というか実際のツイートを見ながらこのブログをかいているのですが、やはり余震や電車の混雑を予測して「行きたくない」という方が多そうです。一方翌日17日の実測値はほぼ予測通りだったので、意外と影響は軽微だったのかもしれないと（少なくとも会社に行きたくない度合いとしては）、少しホッとしました。

今回は久しぶりに「地震」という単語でのツイート検索もデータ収集してみた（まだ分析できていない。。。）ので、次回にはその分析結果を書いてみようかと思います。

The day before leaving back to Singapore, I packed my stuffs in my suits case. (thank you very much for people who made a chance to meet me in this 2 months.) I didn't buy many thing in Japan this time since its winter. Well, winter cloth is useless in Singapore so I tried my best not to buy a lot. Issue was that I totally forgot that 2 months of stay is long enough to see the change of seasons. It turned from winter to spring and I only brought think winter jacket. It was too warm for March weather but I didn't want to buy spring coat… I decided not to wear a jacket and felt cold…

After the preparation, I was cleaning up the room I rent from Airbnb. Big earthquake hit Tokyo! It was big enough for me to remind me of 311 10+ years ago. I'm wondering if everybody is safe? My area didn't suffer a lot and flight was on time. But I was worried a bit in the flight.

I had a look at my own historical database from twitter, Don't want to work Index (here) just to quickly check the impact. The gap was bigger than the norm which is around gap 50 or more (Hasegawa,2022). Picking up words from ranking there are some word related to the earthquake like "earthquake, aftershock, shaking". Also few concerns about the transportation to go to work. The level of gap between actual and forecasting was closed to big snow after new year holiday (almost).

Now I'm writing this under 7 days quarantine looking at raw tweets. It seems people didn't want to go to the office expecting that they will get in trouble from confusion of public transportation or concern from aftershock. On the other hand, actual of the next day was almost the same as forecasting which relieved me a bit. It shows that at least from "work" point of view the impact was not too huge. (Of course, some suffers a lot in their daily life.)

This time I collected huge search data "Earthquake" which i didn't finish analyzing it yet (Sorry). I'll write about it next time.
