#20 ググるって何? (Google search?)

こんにちは、わからないことがあればググれと言われた世代です。念の為、ググるというのはGoogleで検索するという意味です。まずこんな注釈を書かないといけないかもしれないということにびっくりです。社会人の殆どをGoogle検索と過ごし、Googleで見つかりそうなものを質問しようものなら、社会から抹殺されない勢いだったので（大げさです）。

一方最近は、、、下手になったのか、Googleさんが思ったような検索結果を返してくれなくなってしまいました。うーん、愛が足りてないのかもしれない。Googleの進歩に自分がついていけてないような気もしている。最近の若い人はどうしているんだろう。。。

上記のグラフ（ネオレア, 2020）はそれぞれの若手世代に、情報収集をするときに使うツールは何かと聞いた答えのようです。えーっと、インスタグラムが中学生、高校生、大学生で1位。ほう。インスタグラムで調べ物？検索をするのかフォローするのか？とりあえず「ファミコン」って入れてみる（なんで？）。あ、ファミコン世代というタグが出てきてファミコンのカセットの写真がいっぱい出てきた。これは、、、いいかもしれない。

以前の記事で書いた、「平均身長」も入れてみた。まさかの平均身長タグを発見。そして、、、平均身長コーデの写真がいっぱい。おもに女性。あ！そしてサッカー日本代表男子の平均身長175.4cmを発見。おしい！目的の日本人男性40代平均身長は探せませんでしたが、これはこれで楽しいかもしれない。ちなみにYoutubeで検索したらあっさりと必要なデータがでてきました。Youtube凄。動画だから手書きでメモらないと。手書きで。うーん？

I'm in the generation that had been told to "google" if you don't know it. In case (for youngers), "google" is a verb which means use google search to find the information. Honestly I couldn't imagine that the day that I have explain about this comes. I spend almost all of my business life with google search. I was even scolded if I asked any questions which can be found in google search...

Recently I assume my google search skill is down or my passion towards it is not enough. I can not find good search result from google. Or maybe I couldn't keep up with the improvement of google search itself. I'm wondering how the younger generation in Japan does when they are looking for information.

The chart above (Neorare,2020) shows "Which tool do younger generations use to search for information". Junior high/high/uni students use instagram the most... Instagram for information search. Ok, let me have a try. I tried to search for "NES" (Why?) NES stands for Nintendo entertainment system which is the old game devise. Ops, I found a tag NES and many photos of NES games! Oh... it is not bad indeed. It reminds me of my kid days.

Then I will try "average hight" which I used for the past article. !! Unexpectedly I found #average hight!! Then well interestingly most of the photo are "recommended fashion for average hight lady". Very interesting but not what I was looking for. Oh yes I found the image about average hight of Japan football national team, ALMOST. Again it is interesting. 

By the way I tried to search it in YouTube and It actually shows the perfect search result, a movie which explains about Japanese average hight. Amazing. Thing is that I have to write the data manually from the video. Manually. Does it make sense??
