#25 日本人の部屋の選び方 (Japanese focuses on convenience)

地震がないシンガポールには、変わった形のビルがたくさんあります。かの有名なビルの上に船の乗ったマリーナベイサンズホテル。津波の際にはそのまま海に漕ぎ出せるという噂（*事実ではありません）。ブロックを積み上げたようなインターレース。古くなったら交換できるという噂（*事実ではありません）

そんな中シンガポールに来て二回目の家探しをしている私は、金色の建物などに目移りしつつ、自分にとっての必須条件はなんだろうと考えています。エージェントさんに聞くと、日本人にはお風呂が欲しいと言われることが多いとおっしゃっていました。お風呂欲しい。そう考えると日本でも、日本人とそれ以外の人は条件は違うのだろうか。

上記はアットハース株式会社（2021)の記事を元に再作成した、「日本での住居探しで重視するポイント」をまとめた表になります。日当たりとかはどちらも気になるんだなやっぱり。ちょっと違う。バルコニーがどうしても欲しい！とか確かにあまり日本人にはない発想の気がするし、建物の耐震構造が気になる（10位）もわかる気がする。特にあまり無い国から来ている場合に地震は怖い。

なんかすごく大雑把に、日本人は便利さが大事、日本人以外は住環境が大事。みたいな感じでしょうか。でも、、、日本人以外ってざっくりさがすぎる。似たような調査で、イタリア人とそれ以外みたいに分かれて、日本人がアメリカ人と同じで玄関が広いほうが好きとか言われたらすごい違和感（たとえ話です）。いやでもイタリア人との違いはそれで十分でるのかな。そうかも。

There are many interesting shape buildings in Singapore  from Japanese point of view. Japan is famous for frequent earthquakes so it is very difficult have those in Japan. Marina bay sands hotel has a big ship on top of the building. Rumor tells me that I would float on the sea if tsunami hits Singapore. (Not true of course). The interlace building looks like somebody piled up big boxs to build it. It is said that you ca replace a block when it gets old. (Of course not true). 

Now I'm looking for a place to move in for the second time in Singapore. I was attracted by some "interesting" buildings and wondering what is the minimal requirements I have. An agent told me that Japanese often request a bath tab. Umm, yes I want it too. Then I thought that even in Japan the requirements should be different from Japanese and others.

Above (Athearth,2021) is the chart which shows the comparison between Japanese and non-Japanese on "What is the important requirement for you to choose the place to live in Japan". "Sun light" seems to be required from both which we see few interesting difference between those. For, example "Building structure" would be critical for people who are scared of earthquake. Well, it is scary for Japanese too but we are used to it I think.

Roughly, Japanese thinks "convenience" as an important point to choose house while others shows "comfortableness" is important.(Maybe). Well, "Non-Japanese" sounds too broad to me. Combining all nationality all together as "Non-Japanese" would be too,,, too wild? Umm but maybe it is enough at least to see how Japanese sees the world?(maybe) At least I somehow see yes, this somehow describes the preference of Japanese people.
