東日本大震災 - 代表コーディネーターの挨拶

　初めて陸前高田市の廃墟となって街の国道沿いに車を降りて、たたずんだ時、わたしはすべての言葉を飲み込みました。沈黙する以外の何事もできないのを感じました。
ただかすかに、ヨハネ１１章３５節の「イエスは涙を流された。」Jesus wept.　の御言葉が響いてきました。
　被災地の親族を亡くされた、また住居・仕事場・大切な思い出の場をすべて取り去られた方々の思いを、少数の方ではありますが、お聴きすることができました。その方の姿を思い浮かべて祈ることができます。
　被災された教会の礼拝に参加しました。使徒行伝２章３７－４７節に沿って説教がなされました。特に４２節の「そして一同はひたすら、使徒たちの教えを守り、信徒の交わりをなし、共にパンをさき、祈りをしていた。」から勧めをいただきました。そして今、私たちの教会は初代教会のように聖霊に導かれていると語られました。礼拝後、一人のご婦人が、教会周辺の方々に救援物資を届けるとき、イエスさまはこのような方ですと、大胆に証ししている自分を発見したと、泣きながら、わたしに証ししてくださいました。
　支援委員会が組織されたＪＭＦ拡大運営委員会で佐々木委員長が読まれた聖書の箇所は
ローマ１５：１－７でした。強い者は、強くない者の弱さを担うべきである。（１節）主イエスは忍耐と慰めの神であり、希望を与えるものである。（４，５節）互いに受け入れて神の栄光をあらわすべきである。（７節）この三つのテーマがそのまま支援委員会のテーマです。それがどのように具体的な事柄に結び付くか、ＪＭＦの信徒の方々から思いをお聞きし、御聖霊の導きに従うことによってわかってくると信じています。
　国内のみならず国外からも多くの義援金が献金としてささげられたこと感謝申し上げます。慰めは一人の人から一人の人へと直接、間接に伝えられます。まず、まだ見ていない被災地を、まだお会いしてない被災された方のためにお祈りください。被災地の教会のために、また最前線で働きをしてくれている私たちＪＭＦの兄弟たちのためにお祈りください。

Our Serve for Affected People

When I got off the car along the national highway of the destructive streets of Rikuzen Takada city and stood still for a while, I swallowed every word. I have not felt anything other than silence at that time. However faintly, I have been echoing words of "Jesus wept" (John 11:35) to my ear.
I could hear from some people's minds of thoughts of those who lost their families or relatives, their houses and work places, and also their precious memories in the tsunami affected areas. I can always remember in prayer remembering the appearance of their miserable experience.
I attended a church service that was affected later. Sermons were made along Acts 2:37-47. I was especially suggested from verse 42, "They spent their time in learning from the apostles, taking part in the fellowship, and sharing in the fellowship meals or bread and the prayers." And now, our church has been guided by the Holy Spirit like the early church, the preacher said. After worship, we went to deliver the relief supplies for the affected families around the church. One of the ladies who participated in our group witnessed to me kindly and crying "Jesus is like this, like us, isn't it? Now I have found his testimony I did that Jesus boldly."
The occasion was organized Relief Assistance Committee of JMF, chairman Sasaki of JMF read in the bible where the Romans 15:1-7. (ⅰ) A strong people should to help the weak to carry their burdens.(v.1), (ⅱ) The Lord Jesus in the God of patience and consolation, and He gives hope. (v.4-5), (ⅲ) Accept one another for the glory of God.(v.7). I am sure that our theme for Relief Assistance Committee as it is these three points. What lead to concrete works and how these thoughts that I have heard from those who joined the members of JMF, also, I come to know and believe that by following the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
I would like to thank the contributions that dedicated as many donations as well as from outside the country. Comfort is also communicated directly or indirectly from one person to one person. First, please pray for the affected areas we still have not seen and for those victims who have not been met yet. Please pray for the churches in the disaster areas, and pray for our JMF brothers are working at the forefront.
