真言密教「お大師さん」の大本堂から読経が響く The sutra chanting echoes from the main hall of the Shingon Esoteric Buddhism "Odaishi-san"
外せない用事があり、コロナ禍中に千葉まで行ってきた。密にならないように最大限気をつけての旅だった。
There was something I couldn't miss, so I went to Chiba during the Corona disaster. It was a trip that I was very careful not to get dense.
旅の最終日、時間が取れたので前々から行ってみたいと思っていた「川崎大師(お大師さん)」へ。正月の初詣参拝者の数からは想像がつかないほど閑散としていたので、ゆるりと参拝することができた。
On the last day of the trip, I had time to go to "Kawasaki Daishi", which I had always wanted to visit. It was so quiet that I couldn't imagine from the number of people who worshiped at the beginning of the New Year, so I was able to worship at ease.
ご承知の通り、川崎大師は、災厄を消除する「厄除大師」として関東近郊はもとより全国から篤い信仰を集めている。お大師さんで呼ばれているので正式な名称は馴染みが薄い。大山門横の看板に金剛山金乗院 平間寺（こんごうさん きんじょういん へいけんじ）と書かれていた。
As you know, Kawasaki Daishi has been worshiped not only in the Kanto area but also from all over the country as a "disaster extermination master" to eliminate disasters. The official name is unfamiliar because it is called by a master. On the signboard next to the Daisanmon gate, it was written that it was Kongo-san Kinjoin Heiken-ji.
関東の有名寺院である成田山新勝寺や高尾山薬王院とともに真言宗智山派の大本山である。御本尊は、弘法大師空海上人像。
現世で修行者が行を重ね、悟りを開き仏になる「即身成仏」の教えが説かれている真言密教の寺院である。
Along with the famous temples in the Kanto region, Naritasan Shinsho-ji Temple and Yakuouin Temple, it is the head temple of the Shingon sect of Chisan. The principal image is the statue of Kobo Daishi Kukai.
It is a Shingon esoteric Buddhist temple where the teachings of "Buddha", in which practitioners repeat their lines in Current world, become enlightened and become Buddha, are preached.
訪れたとき、たまたま「御護摩」が行われ、荘厳な読経が大本堂内に響いていた。
When I visited, it happened that "Goma" was performed, and a majestic sutra chanting echoed in the main hall.
