Themed Ports of TDS①Mediterranean Harbor
Hello! Welcome to my blog. In this article, I'll introduce about Mediterranean Harbor, one of areas of Tokyo Disney Sea.
What is Mediterranean Harbor?
Mediterranean Harbor takes place entrance area of Tokyo DisneySea. It's inspired by Italy or Spain, and separeted three areas. I will show about them.

1. Porto Paradiso
Porto Paradiso is the nearest area from the entrance. This area is modeled after the towns of the Italian Riviera coast.
Like I said former article, Tokyo DisneySea has great stories, and Porto Paradiso also has it. We cannot talk about this area without Zambini brothers, pioniers of Porto Paradiso.
Porto Paradiso was originally a small fishing village. In the 16th century, explorers and researchers belonging to the group known as "S.E.A." started frequenting the port village of Porto Paradiso to go to "Explores Runding". Zambini brothers provided them with villas, shops, and more, and as a result, the village grew. DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta is part of this process.
"Zambini brothers ristorante" was originally winery owened by Zambini brothers, but they renewed it to restaurant for visiters. You can enjoy Italian food there.
"Soaring: fantastic flight" also has a story. Its building is set up as a museum called "Fantastic Flight Museum". The contents of the attraction are mostly the same as at Disneyland Resort or others, but the queue line is unique compared to other parks "Soarin".
2. Palazzo Canals
As you can see, Venice serves as the model for this area.
You can enjoy the scenery from the "Venetian gondola", and "Ristrante di Canaletto" has amazing atomothphere.
3. Explores' Landing
You may know its name because it apeered Porto Paradiso section. This area is said be inspired by iberian peninsula. The story there is very complex, so I'll just give you a brief overview.
Explores' Landing looks like fortress, and it is a base of "S.E.A.". Yesss you know the name. You can see portrait of members of "S.E.A." there.
There are many interesting things related physics, astronomy, etc.
