Themed Ports of TDS② American Waterfront

Hi, long time no see! In this article, I'll introduce about American Waterfront, one of areas of Tokyo Disney Sea.

What is American WaterfFront?

American Waterfront takes place entrance area of Tokyo DisneySea. It's inspired by the US in early 20th century, and separeted two areas. I will show about them.

1. New York area

New York area is literally modeled after New York, and it is set in 1912. Surprisinglly, many parts of there is modeled after actual places. For example, broadway and water street. Broadway is as you know Broadway. Water street is probably not so famous, but it exsits in loewer Manhattan. 
In Broadway, there is a theater like real Broadway, called Broadway Music Theater. In the theater, they are staging a revue show centered around swing jazz music. You can see Mickey Mouce playing the drum. It worth to see once.

Don't miss about "Toybill Torolly Park" and "Tower of Terror"!
Toybill Torolly Park is set an amusement park themed "Toy story". You may think it's weired that an amusement park in an amusement park, but it is like Pixer pier in Disney California Adventure.  "Toy Story Mania!" is one of the popular attractions in Tokyo Disney Sea. 

If you are a fan of Disney, you probably have heared the name "Tower of Terror " because there are some ToTs in the world. However, ToT in TDS has an original story. The story is really interesting, here is a synopsis of it.

In New York, 1912, stands the hotel known as the "Tower of Terror," so called after the mysterious disappearance of its owner in 1899. Now, the New York City Preservation Society has finished restoring the infamous hotel, and started giving tours to the public. But what happens when you take the elevator to the top floor...?

In New York area, there is another attractive site, S.S.Columbia, a gorgeous ship. You can visit a nice bar and a restaurant in the ship. 

2. Cape Cod area

Cape Cod area is modeled after a village lacated in Massachusetts.  Compared to New York area, Cape Cod is a vibe of silence, and you can enjoy a landscape of a country side.

In Cape Cod, you can see "Duffy" and his friends. They are pretty😍
