Mさんからの便り-前段, Letter from Mr. M (1st part /3)

The soldiers are shooting and have no idea to stop shooting while armed people are standing for demonstrating. So, what will you do if you are there? Shall we run? How long shall we run?

This coup is not the first time. This is the second time in my life.　In 1988, the people were cracked down similarly and many people were shot dead. The people acceded to the military at that time. The Military did not change their vision, mission and ethic for the country and people. They pressed and torture the people even though the soldiers say every "we have to protected our country and people sacrificing our life".

Their actions are opposite. They have been fighting the ethnic group since long long ago. What is their reason for fighting? For the country? For the people? Actually, they have to protect the country against the other countries who try to invade or colonize the country. Now, some of the land along the Myanmar-China border is illegally grabbed by China. What did the Military do? Nothing! (to be continued...)

武装した民衆がデモに立つ間、兵士たちは銃撃し続け、やめるつもりはありません。もしあなたがそこにいれば、どうするでしょうか？逃げましょうか？どれほど遠くまで逃げればいいですか？

クーデターは、これが初めてではありません。私の人生において二度目です。1988年、民衆は同じように厳しく取り締まられ、多くの人が射殺されました。あの時、民衆は軍に応じました。軍は、国家と民衆に対するビジョン、使命、倫理を変えませんでした。兵士たちは、「我々は命を捧げて国家と国民を守らなければならない」と言っているにも関わらず、民衆を押さえつけ苦しめたのです。

彼らの行動は間逆です。彼らは、ずっと昔から少数民族グループと戦っています。彼らが戦う理由とは何なのでしょう？国家のため？国民のため？実際は彼らは、国を侵略しよう植民地化しようとする他国から国土を守らなければなりません。現在、ミャンマーと中国の国境沿いの一部の土地は、中国によって不法に占拠されています。軍は何をやっていたのでしょう？何もやっていません。（続く）
