If they are humanitarian and realize sympathy and empathy like the Army of the other countries, the current situation would not get worse. Shall we be running all the time the soldiers and police shoot us? We cannot run anymore. We have been so tired since 1988. How long shall we run more?

The people tried to live together in peace. The Army did not accept it. Not the whole Army, most leaders of Army concerned that the Army have no task, no money, no opportunity, etc. if there is no war or fighting. They are worried that they lost their position if the country is peaceful. In this way, the Army leaders wash the brains of soldiers.
